Mzinda Lifestyle fashion show was one the biggest fashion highlights to happen this year,  meaning if it plans on staying on the block for long

What you missed, and well probably what you, never mind. First things first, a round of applause to all the fashion designers that kept our eyes glued to the runway throughout the show. Looking forward to more of this events here in Malawi, it was quite an experience. Allow me to get back to the pros, after sharing some of the things I noted that we can work on as a country, as fashion enthusiast and yes trend setters.

Mzinda Lifestyle fashion show was one the biggest fashion highlights to happen this year,  meaning if it plans on staying on the block for long,  few things must be worked on , time management for instance is very crucial when it comes to events, and a fashion event is no exception, like can we start on the allocated time? This not only makes patrons and our audience happy,I find that it gives some sense of structure of the entire show. Preparation will continue to be key, until the earth decides otherwise, and an event that is lacking such a core ingredient, it shows. From the models to the designers, coordination on the run way was not always smooth, at one point I saw a Model struggling to flow with the sudden transition of music. Lastly big show, means big investment and some big level of professionalism, from the materials of the looks to be showcased. Okay now this is the part I get to agree with  one of our local fashion Icon Lilly Alfonso, who encouraged Malawians to change our perspective when it comes to supporting Fashion industry in  general.

With that being  said, Kudos! To the Organisers of the show, it was definitely a huge platform for creatives to network, while also promoting local art, tourism and culture, as the event attracted 15 international designers and models from across Africa. All this went down at BICC Amphitheatre in Lilongwe.
