Christina Malaya, popularly known as Jetu, the crowned Amapiano Queen of Malawi, has been appointed as the Anti-Crime Ambassador for Limbe Police Station. At 71 years old, she continues to make waves not only in music but now also in community safety.

Jetu made a grand entrance at her naming ceremony, escorted by a group of armed police officers. In her acceptance speech, she praised the police for their dedication to keeping the area safe.

“I am truly grateful for the tireless efforts of the police in ensuring security and protection. Since their intervention, crime, killings, and theft have reduced significantly, bringing peace and stability to our community,” she said.

She also promised to work closely with the police to maintain this peace. Her enthusiasm was evident when she humorously announced the news on her Facebook page, writing: “Mulandileni Anti Crime Ambassador Limbe Police Station wanu, ine Inspector Jetulina Celebu Wankulu Jetu.”

Fans reacted with excitement, with some calling her a pangolin, referring to how well-protected she is. Many congratulated her on this new role, showing their support and admiration for the artist.
